Located in the 6000 block of Maurer Road in Shawnee between Johnson Drive and Shawnee Mission Parkway inside the I-435 beltway.

All lots have access to sanitary sewers and all other utilities (WaterOne may require line extension).

The Grange was operated by the Zillhart family for decades ultimately selling the softball field land to the Shawnee Mission School District in 2006. The original home was taken down as part of the field’s construction but the 1930-built barn is still there and is on “Lot 3”.

The Grange is located adjacent Shawnee Mission School District’s softball fields. These limited use fields are located approximately 560 feet from the typical placement of a home on our 3 lots and there are parking facilities approximately 375 feet to the east of Lots 2 & 3. Vegetation between Lots 2 & 3 and the parking lot provides privacy.

“Operation of the facility shall be limited to the dates of March 1st through October 31st. Lights shall be turned off after the last game is completed on each field. Field lights shall be turned off by 9:00 P.M. and parking lot lights by 9:30 P.M. during the months of March through May. During the months of June thru October 31st, the field lights shall be turned off no later than 10:00 P.M. and the parking lot lights by 10:30 P.M.” - Shawnee Mission School District
